Dillard University has a nearly 150-year history as one of the top HBCUs in the nation, ranking #2 for producer of African Americans with bachelor’s degrees in Physics by the American Institute of Physics. Dillard offers a wide variety of academic programs and is located in one of America's truly unique and vibrant cities.


Students seeking admission to Dillard are required to have a 2.5 (unweighted gpa) with a score of at least 18 on the ACT or 870 SAT (verbal and math score).


Estimated cost of attendance for the 2017 academic year is $28,000 (tuition, room/board and fees). Institutional merit based scholarships range from $3,500 up to full tuition and room/board. Dillard also offers talent-based scholarships in Music, Theatre, Visual Arts and Athletics.
